24.12.2019 · I use XFCE on my MX install because it's difficult to break and that's my backup install, and I use KDE on Manjaro because it's easy to break but ever such fun to play around with I'd be happy using either as my daily driver, but by virtue of Manjaro being my primary install, and not wanting to switch environments on the fly I end up spending most of my time with KDE.

I've been on KDE for five months now and it's been rock solid. Also been trying out XFCE on a separate partition for a couple of days. Nothing gained in terms of memory usage and though Manjaro has made a great job of making it look decent out of the box to me, it still looks like a basement hack compared to KDE but that's just a matter of personal taste.
