Then, find “File Manager” and change it from “Thunar” to the file manager you’d like to use. Terminal Emulator XFCE’s default terminal emulator is pretty standard as far as terminal apps go.
07.02.2016 · Restart the panel, run xfce4-panel This will respawn xfconfd automatically. Note if you need or want to restart xfconfd manually know that on my installation it was in /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/xfce4/xfconf/xfconfd which was outside of $PATH. This clears it for the running session, regenerates the files, and sets up the default for future sessions.

In case you guys get stuck with any problem for xfce 4.10 which is not that customizable compared to the older version you can always reset it to the initial parameters.

Feb 12, 2018 · That looks pretty reset besides having the basic applications menu instead of Whisker Menu. Right click on panel to get to properties/settings and look at the items there, readd whisker.
Jan 18, 2015 · I recently installed Manjaro Linux, and today I started trying out new themes. I read that the default theme for Manjaro XFCE is called "Adwaita-Manjaro-Dark" . But for some weird reason this theme does not show up in the list in the "Appearance" dialog.
I just want to get back to the original Manjaro xfce settings. I tried coping from etc/skel but it didn't change anything. Sorry if this is noob question but if you do answer if you could ELI5 me that would be awesome.
