Just tried several copy/read/write operations and nextcloud went mad - Client got stuck on Sync forever and some files had 'Invalid date' on web UI file Details pane.

01.05.2021 · I think that a good way would be to not sync these files by default to avoid issues, warn people about the consequences, and let users choose if they want to sync them or not. We are syncing a lot of lnk files without any issues on 20 computers: your decision to remove this possibility puts us in a bad situation and we don't know how we'll reorganise some key processes.

I upgraded my Nextcloud desktop client to the new 2.5.0 release today, on my Windows 8.1 desktop as well as on my Windows 10 tablet. My existing sync connections have been retained, but they are not working correctly anymore: Only files in the root folder are synced correctly. Files in subfolders are not synced.

Right now I use google drive to sync my files across devices and my calendar. I have two linux desktops, a, linux laptop and android phone. What I'm wondering is if there is a nextcloud "app" such as insync that will keep my files synced across devices and if the nextcloud calendar app will fulfill this function. I'm asking generally, of course.
