28.07.2020 · The reason why “lease fail” is shown, is because dhcpc conflicts with udhcpc. Fixing this is simple; Add “denyinterfaces wwan0” to bottom of /etc/dhcpcd.conf. Then restart dhcpc “sudo systemctl restart dhcpcd”, followed by restarting qmi_reconnect “sudo systemctl restart qmi_reconnect” (or reboot).

20.07.2021 · FS#3943 - ujail breaks after some uptime. When a device with procd-ujail installed has been running for a while (hit it today with 28d uptime), restarting dnsmasq results in dnsmasq no longer being started, there is only the ujail process. There are no errors displayed on stdout/stderr while restarting, nor in syslog.

Unplug the wan cable from openwrt device and Replug the device to Network B ( Different network with ipaddress in different subnet) udhcpc doesn't release or request a new lease when plugged to different network and hence the device would become unreachable. Monitoring the dhcp traffic using tcpdump doesn't find any packets.
