You probably also have to change the lan IP address which need to be in the same subnet as the main router but mustn't conflict with another device. Or you could check the wiki for dumb AP. A WiFi bridge is a non-standard beast that you also can read about in the openwrt wiki. Personally I prefer routing over bridging.
