I have Proxmox Backup Server (PBS) running on a Lenovo IdeaPad U310 that my daughter used at college. PBS is rock solid. PBS for VM and LXC backups is native to Proxmox. A PBS client also can be installed directly on the Proxmox host for backing it up as well.
