So Proxmox VE iSCSI volume names just encodes some information about the LUN as seen by the linux kernel. Storage Features iSCSI is a block level type storage, and provides no management interface. So it is usually best to export one big LUN, and setup LVM on top of that LUN. You can then use the LVM plugin to manage the storage on that iSCSI LUN.

I setup them up as an iscsi target, but am having loads of trouble connecting to it from my Proxmox installed on a Dell T310. It accord to me, after about 2 weeks of trying to get the connection fixed, that maybe iscsi isn’t even the best solution.

Así que lo abrimos desde el menú de Inicio: Si vamos a la sección Target podremos ver el recurso que tenemos compartido y extraer el IQN.
