Hi All, I have a home NAS of 16TB server (4TB x 4), My requirement is : Is it possible that I can run Windows in one 4TB hard disk and the remaining all (3 x 4TB) hard drive for as Proxmox server. If yes how to do it. Can I choose the Proxmox server in the boot menu itself, is that possible, if Yes how to do it.

If you want a hypervisor and a nas on the same machine, try truenas on Proxmox. If you just want a nas, just run truenas. Truenas is also a hypervisor so you can run some VM's on it also, but Proxmox is the better hypervisor. Lots of people run truenas on Proxmox. As the title says, I am looking to setup Proxmox as a NAS. I have done some research and I see a lot of mixed opinions. Some people saying it's all good and others, saying that you should have a separate machine for Storage etc. Currently I am running unRAID with an E5-2670 @ 2.6Ghz / 32GB of ECC rDimms and a 60TB Array.

Yes proxmox can do what you want. If you want a simple NAS sokution go with OMV or Xepenlogy. If you want something beefy use TrueNAS.
