I know about ZFS not liking HW RAID etc. and im running Proxmox on my production env without HW RAID. Works very good. But also i have some old Huawei Tecal RH2288H V2 server with RAID controller that doesnt support passthrough (or i couldnt find that option) so i created RAID 1 on it and on top installed Proxmox ZFS RAID 0.
