26.03.2017 · I have copied the VM files to a stand-alone host, so the VM could run from there. I have deleted the VM files, hoping the cluster resources should fail, so I could remove them. I have also tried to restore the VM from backup, hoping that the cluster resources get registered properly, but that didn't happen. I cannot do anything with this VM.

16.02.2017 · In the Windows vSphere client, you can simply right click on the VMs and remove them from the inventory. In the web client, the right click menu is much shorter and does not include Remove from Inventory.
