Hi Kamil, This issue is around since 2 years. VMWare does not not want to compile vmtools anymore. VMWare has made the product opensource and Red Hat calls the rpm open-vm-tools, current release open-vm-tools-10.3.0-2.el8.x86_64 is part of AppStreams repo.
