Taos will probably beat out Angelfire on almost all of your criteria. We skied at Taos Ski Valley over Spring Break this year and rented a house. It was great. Taos has a famous ski school, which accommodates kids from toddler age (mostly day care and fun activities with a little time spent on the snow) through adulthood.

Pack in, pack out. 2 miles drive to the Williams Lake trail up to Wheeler Peak. Peaceful and very well situated. As you reach the Taos Ski Valley sign, turn left into the gravel RV camping lot.
