I'm new to unifi and am experimenting with some second hand kit. I've got a cloud key (1.1.19) and am running the controller (6.2.26) on it. I'd assumed it would have DHCP server capabilities, but I can't find anything (except an option to relay). The cloud key simply acts as a controller for unifi equipment. Ok, thanks.

In the DNS server that is provided by DHCP, make sure there is a record called unifi.domain.com and point at your controller by IP (A record) or hostname (CNAME record). When DNS is setup properly, SSH into the AP and run "nslookup unifi" (just like that, use the short name). Make sure the IP returned is correct.
