Either you use the Domain\Administrator or the local administrator account or you need to disable UAC. One of the 2 from what I can gather.

Our Veeam console runs on a local admin account on a server, and the domain account it uses to back up machines is granted local admin access on the servers it needs to back up. There's no domain admin access involved at any step, and UAC hasn't been a problem either. I'm guessing this has been addressed in newer versions of Veeam.
