Feb 21, 2020 · Go to the Backup Infrastructure tab find your vCenter and with right mouse click select scan. The re-scan will reassign the VMs and host IDs to Veeam, and you can rerun the job. However, unfortunately, it did not fix the issue for this error; further troubleshooting is needed.

As the #1 solution for virtual machine backup, Veeam combined with ... copy jobs and tape jobs. cannot be used for VMs that have at least one open snapshot!

The job ESXI_admin gives the error: Error: Host with id 'ce4b228d-7b21-4761-9a1c-4ff9f372955f' was not found I tried looking at the database VeeamBackup, the tables dbo.Folder_Host and dbo.Hosts but can not find the ID given above.
12.04.2016 · I found that the Replica for a couple of VM's had some old replicase from weeks ago, clearly not auto tidied up. I decided the best solution would be to clear them out and let it Replicate a fresh copy. So in Hyper-V manager, I deleted the 2 VM's. I then deleted the corresponding files in the folders and re-ran the replication job.

The HyperV cluster in question was already added to Veeam years ago. And the job in question too. The warning was never there.

My concern with this is, that the job sees this vm as a whole new vm then, and takes a full backup because of this.
