Curious problem that has only started about a week ago but seems to happen every night where the backup seems to complete but then loses the ability to find the backup, fails, waits 10 minutes then finds it again and completes the merge. If I run it manually during the day it works fine.

Volume Shadow Service (VSS) is used by Endpoint Backup to create the shadow copy from which the backup is created.

When you want to install to an alternative location (not the default), many applications allow you to change the entire path. So once you type in a different drive letter, you have the possibility to change it entirely.

When the job automatically runs I always get the message: Task <filepath>\<filename>.vbk completed with warnings. Details: The system cannot find the file specified.
