So what you will need to do is to create the recovery media (as an ISO) as fast as you can. Store it somewhere and then boot a fresh VM on that ISO. Then do a bare metal restore and restore the entire VM.

We installed the October update for B&R 11 since then we have been getting notices about " Failed to convert the check point to the reference point " on several VMs. I currently cannot open a ticket with Veeam because their site is broken for our account (we made the mistake of buying Veeam from a reseller).
