17.01.2012 · Veeam freezes during backups. I have 2 replication jobs to place vmdk files from SAN to local datastore, 1 for each server that will store the vmdk's locally. Veeam is a virtual guest on 1 of the ESX servers. The veeam proxy is set for 3 concurrent tasks (less than the suggested 4 simultaneous) and will freeze up even if only the 1 task is running.

19.12.2017 · Indeed, it looks like the short name of your host cannot be resolved by Veeam B&R server properly.
