Nov 04, 2014 · Actually used space is only 200. Veeam says there is not enough room on the current disk to do a snapshot. Is there a way to get around making a snapshot or some other way before performing the backup. We are using: HP Proliant ML350p Gen 8 w/ 6 disks split into two stores 266 gb & 558 gb. Vmware 5.5 HP specific image. Veeam 7 with latest patches

I tried but, the consolidation failed because of insufficient disk space in the datastore. In other words: Before deleting the snapshot, I had ~30GB free in the VM disk, but the snapshot was 30GB itself, so no space.

Jul 19, 2016 · Hi, it means there were lots of write activity on the protected computer during backup, which filled all available space in the snapshot file. In this beta, snapshot file is preallocated file of a few GB in size (don't remember how much). The release version will support dynamic snapshot file growth though. Thanks!

For example, there is a value "location" suggesting the place where to store your snapshot data, if this is the case then can an nfs mounted filesystem be used for that purpose.
