Sep 05, 2017 · I recently installed the Veeam Agent 2.0.0.700 - free edition onto a physical machine and configured a backup. This is fine, the wizard completed and I can see the backup job in B&R and it runs automatically. But when I right click to see the actions they are greyed out. The options I have are. Start - greyed out.

For storage rescan and Backup from Storage Snapshots, Veeam Backup ... a failback to non-snapshot based backup in the event that BfSS is not working.

Below is what support told me: One way around this, access the properties of the repository > on the review tab > click the option to Search the repository for existing backs and import them automatically.

30.08.2021 · I have a server I am running VBR 11 on. The option to rescan repositories has just outright disappeared. I have tried closing and re-opening VBR, but this did not resolve the issue. A server reboot has also not resolved the issue.

We have an issue where we plug in a daily backup drive, then we try to restore a file from it, but Veeam still presents restore points from the previous drive which was just unplugged. The option to rescan the repository is greyed out. We have no way to access previous restore points on the drive until after the next back cycle has run.
