08.12.2019 · Since there is no “rescan” option for VBO repositories, I simply restarted both Veeam Backup for Office 365 services. I just wanted to make sure, that everything is working as expected. Finally, I was able to try an restore of a mailbox item after I restored all the VBO repositories, which went just fine ! I checked every one of my backup jobs.

18.12.2018 · Next day I find that their Veeam server didn't recognize the space availability change. I ran a Rescan against the cloud backup repository that needs it's available space updated. Rescan didn't change anything. To be thorough, I logged into the cloud server - where the repository is - and found that only 1.5 TB of space is used.

Actually there're periodic automatic rescans in Veeam B&R, so I recommend to contact technical support for a closer look at the issue. You could also contact the cloud provider with this, since the issue might be on their side. Thanks.

30.08.2021 · I have a server I am running VBR 11 on. The option to rescan repositories has just outright disappeared. I have tried closing and re-opening VBR, but this did not resolve the issue. A server reboot has also not resolved the issue.
