Sep 09, 2021 · Edit : I've recently noticed after looking over the tape information in veeam. I think these tapes might be encrypted. My drive can read the tape to a point. The capacity reports as 1.3TBs but the free space will read as 127GBs free. This leads me to believe that these tapes were used with some sort of software that supported encryption.

20.07.2014 · Tape expiration date will be added as a separate column in Veeam B&R v8. Looks like this is a more appropriate place for this information. Also, Veeam ONE will have a dedicated report with the list of protected tapes and their expiration dates. Anyway, thanks for the feedback!
