Sep 17, 2013 · The VM memory will continue to grow, slowly. The VM terminated after consuming 8206328kB of Ram nearly 2GB more than it should have. I've included the kernel message buffer dump as an aid for someone to help me. Yes, i know i should probably turn my memory settings down, but am more concerned that there might be a memory leak. If i use 8192MB of ram i can crash the VM in a few minutes to a hour, it will consume nearly 10GB of ram when the kernel finally gives up.

Have had to hard reset host machine 3 times this evening when guest VM running in background. Happens even when nothing running in guest OS.

Soon, VMs on the other datastores will have the same issue. The only way I know to resolve this issue is to refresh the VMs on the datastores that are out of space.

You are allocating 19GB to the VM, on a host which only has 28GB available (i.e. not already in use). It is unlikely that such a large allocation is available in one chunk.
