If this works, you should get your system back in an up-to-date state. Just like the above thread suggested. This works fine for me…Hope this helps anyone out there 😉

Dec 03, 2007 · On the Virtual Machine Library window, right click on the offending VM and select "Show in Finder". Next, right click on the VM and select "Show Package Contents". From there, just delete every folder that ends in .lck. After that, your VM should open fine.
