Aug 03, 2021 · Remove the disk from this virtual machine or power down the virtual machine. Consolidation/Power On should now be possible. Find the Task / Service holding the lock by running this command: lsof | grep -i <vm-name>. If this returns an output, there is a service or task locking the disks.
