Windows Movie Maker Alternative?! App Since WMM is gone by the wayside, does anyone have any recommendations for an application, that isn't much of a resource hog, and is simple enough that would allow the misses to record a video via webcam, eventually on youtube without me being by her side?

Hey all, I really miss Windows Movie Maker. I don't know what I'm doing with it. I really just used it to take little snippets out of things I watched for sharing purposes, to take chunks out of videos when needed, or to convert videos for getting music/sounds.
Windows Movie Maker is no longer available for download, and I came across some online forums that recommended me to use the Photos app, but it's inflexibility and non-user friendly nature is making me look for an alternative (preferably free).

JayAreTV. · 6y. Try DaVinci Resolve. It was once only used as a high-end colorist tool but now they've added a full editor in the last release. They have a free version of it which is really good. You probably will need to watch a couple tutorials on how to use it. 1. level 1. altarvic.
