Xorgxrdp build from latest fde94a3. Blank screen after login from Windows 10 (after select Xorg and input name/password). Blank. xrdp-sesman.

I got the same problem and after many tries I solved it by: 1) Removing xrdp. $sudo apt-get remove xrdp. 2) Reinstall xrdp.

After being presented with the xRDP login page, only the green background screen is presented to you and will fail eventually.

Mar 31, 2018 · I have the same problem (blank screen) so I tried a clean install using 2018-04-18 version of raspbian and if I leave the user name and password pi / raspberry then it works (I have some trouble with a couple "root" permission apps but that's a different issue). If I change the password then I can't log in via xrdp anymore.

The above posts helped me resolve the blank/black screen when logging into XRDP from W10. But I only had the issue from my W10 work laptop and not my 2 home W10 computers, so I knew the issue was not the install.
