This is typical when a host update occurs, the backup is running and somewhere it gets restarted due to the updates and the backups were not completed yet. Jul 19, 2017 · HyperV however does not really delete the snapshot files until the next shutdown. That might be your issue to. ( Backup software usually takes a different approach ) So sit tight and update us when it's done and you have fired the server back up. Then keep an eye on the files to make sure it's really your backup software.
