I wanted to install google-chrome(stable) on it but the AUR did not have a tarball to download. It had .deb pre compiled package instead which I was a little reluctant to install using dpkg.

As you see, yay found all the available packages related to Google Chrome. I will choose the stable package to install, the same as I chose for the other installation method.

Today, after updating the kernel (but before even rebooting) Chromium and Chrome seem to have stopped worked. That is, I can't even get either of them to start. I've tried re-installing both of them, renaming their .config directory (in any some bad extension/plugin got installed); also tried downgrading chromium to a couple of different versions - none of this made any difference.

hwdb.bin does not exist, please run udevadm hwdb --update. But even after I run ... A script to built an AppImage using packages from Arch Linux.
