09.06.2021 · I am trying to get this integration to communicate with home assistant. I have a ds220+ with DSM 7 on it. I followed This how-to and created a user on DSM with 2fa setup and admin rights. I installed the integration and it asks for address of my DSM, username, password, port and then prompts me for 2fa code.

Oct 17, 2021 · Supervisor shows Home Assistant Core Version core-2021.6.6 Newest Version core-2021.9.7 and Supervisor Version supervisor-2021.09.0 Newest Version supervisor-2021.09.4 - is the version of Home Assistant Core meant to be that old? I previously restored a backup from a DSM6 Hassio installation which had to include HA Core or it wouldn't proceed.
Aug 26, 2021 · Upgrade DSM to v7.0. Before you can start - you will need to download the update from Synology. Synology DSM - Control Panel- Update & Restore. Once you downloaded the update, click on "Upgrade" and review the notices - you will see that they warn the discontinued support for USB devices. Fear not, and march forward!
May 16, 2021 · I’ve tried Synology’s DSM 7 beta and I discovered support for USB devices (other than storage devices) has been dropped. That means you can’t use Home Assistant on your Synology if you want support for Z-wave.
