Stable doesn't mean "no crashes", it means it doesn't change. By definition, Manjaro is unstable. They also have pulled a ton of amateur-hour mistakes and I don't trust them anywhere near my system. I have no idea why it's as popular as it is. Pop!_OS is more stable because it's based on Ubuntu which is released every 6 months.

For the past 2-3 years I have been maintaining the Openbox Window Manager based community editions - with the primary focus on the Openbox edition (fixing occational small issues with LXDE and LXQt editions).
