Hello, I recently got into kde neon, and it seem that during the login page, there's two options which is X11 and Wayland. Can anyone give comment on which you think is the best for kde neon/some detailed explanation about both of these.

May 08, 2016 · In 2018, with newest Neon (5.12.4 at present), I myself find that I can use Wayland with KDE neon GNU/Linux most of the time for all sorts of things. And I find that it is fast and elegant in mostly all operations.

Last time i checked kwin on wayland did not support way too many simple things. I am not even talking about complicated stuff. For example i have two monitors, 144hz and 60hz. On wayland both get locked to 60hz because reasons. At least on X11 i can set TearFree option and get them both run at their max refresh rates.
