Definitely against, but I run Antergos anyway because I'm lazy. I don't think it matters except for Manjaro which has it's own repository (and thus isn't Arch). I don't think the install method should be used as a measuring tool for weather or not a 100% compatible Arch system is Arch.

Why you shouldn't use Manjaro. : FindMeADistro - reddit
https://www.reddit.com/r/FindMeADistro/comments/cyn0hw/why_you_shouldnt_use_manjaro
Manjaro is based on a rolling release distribution called Arch. The thing about rolling release is getting the updates as soon as they are out, whereas Manjaro holds them back for a week without a good reason. They don't check them, do anything with them but instead hold them back. It has had many issues that you wouldn't have had on Arch.

Though Manjaro and arch can be considered same, it is not 100% true. It's a customized arch based distro with controlled package release cycle. Good thing about Manjaro is the community. It's much more noob friendly. If you are looking for docs or wiki, nothing could beat the arch wiki. 4. level 1.

Yeah and arch is your only option if manjaro hasn’t implemented a feature during the install process - something like f2fs for the filesystem choice (don’t know if it’s been implemented in the latest manjaro-architect). Really appreciate the architect install process, though it’s always a little behind the manual process.
