May 21, 2018 · During the install of Manjaro, I set the 100MB FAT32 partition to mount at /boot/efi/ and to carry the boot and efi flags (without formatting it). I also created an ext4 partition to mount at '/' and a swap partition, and completed the Manjaro install. After rebooting, the computer boots directly into Windows 10, not Manjaro.

Aug 30, 2020 · Install Manjaro in BIOS mode again to the second drive (sda), installing grub also in sda. Then use your BIOS boot menu to boot from that disk. Grub should have detected Windows and you should have an option in grub menu to boot Windows that should work. Sda drive have msdos partition type, so you don’t need an extra partition there. Hope it works.
06.10.2020 · Manjaro 20 Gnome has been running great for a month on my AMD 64-bit desktop until an update 2 days ago. Now it boots to a black screen. I found a temporary solution and have to hold down Ctrl + Alt + F2 to get to a tty2. Than I log in and type startx. That brings up the gui. Before the update Manjaro would boot right to the desktop gui.
