Nov 25, 2021 · After 2 weeks of testing Manjaro as a second OS, I decided to totally remove Windows from my PC. I do backup of my files and prepare 250Gb HDD drive to install Manjaro on BIOS/GPD style. I proceed to install a Manjaro with separately /home partition. Unfortunately after installation and reboot there was Error: Failed to mount /home drive partition.

I played with Manjaro for a couple of days in a VM and i really really like it and i got everything working that i need for my computer. Now i want to set it up and i heard good things about putting your /home directory in a separate partition on install.
Jun 28, 2020 · i hav a /boot partition, because some one who teaches linux online said it is the best partitioning scheme to have /boot , /root , /swap in middle of (root and home) and /home. dalto: You should only have a separate partition when there is a specific reason to add a partition.
