Ubuntu can just be as good as manjaro! Install ZSH, A window manager, etc. You can have a similar level of adventure and enjoyment out of it. I'm currently using Ubuntu with i3-gaps. I've tried everything, Arch, Manjaro, Pop, etc. I always come back to Ubuntu.

I prefer Manjaro for sure. After many years of Ubuntu based distros, Arch while maybe different, is very logical to me. It was significantly easier for me to understand than Ubuntu and its ppa nonsense. If you like newer things with a little risk, go with Manjaro. If you like less updates (and up to date) go Kubuntu.

I started out on Ubuntu, moved over to Mint, and later tried Manjaro. Linux Mint is a great curated product and has a great community/forum. Once I tried Manjaro KDE/XFCE/Cinnamon and spent a little time in the wiki I was hooked. I hit the wiki because I wanted to know what made Manjaro so popular at the time.
