Sep 13, 2019 · Here's an interesting problem. Several weeks ago, I tested Manjaro 18.0.4 Illyria on my HP Pavilion laptop, and I've come across an interesting phenomenon. The laptop is equipped with a Broadcom Wireless card, and in the live session, both with free and nonfree drivers, the network was up and running okay.

Then try to connect following the instructions for manually connecting from the wireless setup wiki page. Post the commands you issue and the output you get.

01.03.2005 · Hey there. I dual boot Manjaro Linux (LTS) and Windows 10. And I have problems with the internet via ethernet cable. In windows both Wi-Fi and Ethernet work fine. But when I boot Manjaro only wifi works. Ethernet connection doesn’t appear at all.
I'm using the latest version of Manjaro Gnome. Did an update, and after a restart later, the wireless networking is gone and it won't recognize my usb wifi dongle. I expect it's the networkmanager, but I don't know how to roll it back. Can't access the internet of course. Here's a list of the updates just in case it's something else:
Jun 28, 2021 · After manually hitting systemd-suspend, it worked fine but after logging in my networkmanager is saying "wireless is deactivated". And I cannot press button to turn it on. i tried installing nm-applet and then the button for suspending works, unfortunately only the same way systemd-suspend did - wireless is deactivated.
