For any low end storage systems without CIFS/SMB write-through support we suggest to use NFS or iSCSI. Sep 25, 2013 · Basicly the qnap is just a linux box, so it is supported bij veeam. The only problem is that it is a very stripped version of linux. For now i will use it as a stupid smb store, if i had known this is wat qnap calls veeam support, i would have search for another solution probably. It is a waste of network resources.
