Hi - I have installed Nextcloud via Docker image and Nginx reverse proxy (also Docker). It all works but performance is really poor.

My Nextcloud backs up all of our devices and has a ton of images. We use the image galleries often and they are slow loading.....I guess 10 years ago I wouldn't have said it was slow but now a days if someone has to watch something load its considered slow lol.

level 1. okami_dash. · 2y. If your Nextcloud config files are stored on a hard drive you might get slow performance. Try moving the database and config volume mounts onto an SSD. The default linuxserver.io image doesn't do much in the way of performance.

I just got nextcloud setup using the linuxserver.io container. It is VERY slow for some reason. Logging in takes about 15 seconds. Clicking around in the UI is also extremely slow. I'm using a dedicated mariaDB instance, no reverse proxy. Its slow on LAN and WAN. Any idea where I can look to try to figure out wtf is going on here

OS is Ubuntu server and Nextcloud is installed via Snap. Nextcloud version is 16. I want to migrate to running Nextcloud on my Unraid machine so I can retire the HP and use the 2T drives in Unraid. I'd rate the UI performance of Nextcloud on the HP as acceptable/ little bit slow.
