Jun 22, 2020 · ISSUE: so my issue is nextcloud Web upload is extremely slow. however when i mount the share as smb in windows 10: file upload is instant. and when i do this command for file scan to appear in nextcloud nothing happens. i have waited over 16hrs and nothing (after mover finished). i have about 500gb of data in my share folder now.

I just got nextcloud setup using the linuxserver.io container. It is VERY slow for some reason. Logging in takes about 15 seconds. Clicking around in the UI is also extremely slow. After removing the 8s from the array, drive speeds have increased since only the 4x 14TB remain. I was shocked to see 209.1 MB/s on read/writes for a bit as the parity was being rebuilt. It's still chugging and is now down at ~165 MB/s. So I think these aren't white label WD Reds but actually white label WD Red Plus drives.

OS is Ubuntu server and Nextcloud is installed via Snap. Nextcloud version is 16. I want to migrate to running Nextcloud on my Unraid machine so I can retire the HP and use the 2T drives in Unraid. I'd rate the UI performance of Nextcloud on the HP as acceptable/ little bit slow.
