Veeam is installed on one of the VM's, using a datastore on the EMC. Currently, my average processing rate is going between 2 MB/s ~ 10 MB/s. 2-3 VM's, performs much better rate, around 100~200 MB/s, And I have no clue why. Almost all of the VM's having average speed of 2~10 MB/s which is very slow.. I was reading about 'Veeam backup proxy' but ...

12.01.2016 · One of the iSCSI NICS in our physical veeam server was set to AUTO but running at 100MBPS!! After forcing the iSCSI NICS to run at 1GBPS I have noticed a huge change in processing speed using direct SAN. I can now generally have a processing rate of 70-100MB/S. Sometimes it goes even higher than 100MB/S.
22.02.2012 · I added that as a repository, and started it again, and we're up to 73MB/s read rate and 55MB/s processing rate. and as I've written this, we're now up to 20GB processed. yowza. I can only speculate that the processing rate will get better once I move Veeam to a physical server, since it won't be reading and writing to the same place.
