I believe the process would end up requiring having to re-add the proxy, re-add the repositiories, clone your existing jobs and then map the imported backups (which are actually your original backups) to the cloned jobs. I see no reason why this should not work, if not a bit tedious.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, however the settings remained. I ended up having to uninstall and renaming the C:\ProgramData\Veeam\Backup365 folder and then reinstalling.
