05.02.2010 · Deconstructing what I'd seen Veeam dev examining and then analyzing further myself, it turns out my post above was close, but not quite. It was not the datacenter name that was mismatched, it was the name of the VM root folder (and Host root folder) within the datacenter.

Sep 03, 2013 · I found the answer to the Host not found. ID [GUID] problem. Look in your database under the Folder_Host table. In there you should see the GUID that Veeam is complaining about. Delete the row. Presto problem solved open up Veeam again and you might get an error for ANOTHER GUID, repeat the process until you dont get an error when opening up Veeam.

I then did a bare metal restore with the latest restore point (leaving intel-VT still disabled, allthough it was switched on before) and windows was booting. So that means my latest restore point doesn't care about the intel-VT, so does the restore point from october.
