This should work, however in this case if you deploy VMs from a single template you will have to change it to avoid duplicates. Alternative option would be to generate our own unique id before agent installation, if no other suitable id has been found.

all, i have a new Windows Server with Veeam 9.5 Update 4 Comunity edition, recently installed.Have a storage ReadyNAS 314, connect.

My problem is fundamentally different though. I don't actually have 2 devices with the same UUID. It's a single device that was reimaged. Veeam is just still remembering the old name for some reason, even though I've removed it from inventory.
