In the end, you really need a couple of apps to get close to Adobe paid features. The best paid PDF editor is Bluebeam (free 30 day trial). It is streets ahead of any other tool, being virtually a CAD tool but it is expensive - only worth it for business use.It makes even the paid version of Acrobat look clumsy and limited.

im looking to get a website for my podcast, initially it would only need 2 different sections for episodes and an about page, and of course a homepage. a nice to have would be a blog/article section. ideally i would like something that can be scalable in the future if i decide i want the website to grow.

Anybody have any good alternatives to Adobe Audition? Working at a small-market station we're still on Cool-Edit Pro. Recently they decided to upgrade some computers, and Cool Edit Pro will more than likely not work on them.

thesuperbacon. · 4y. For the past couple of weeks I've been using DaVinci Resolve and DaVinci Fusion as replacements for Premiere and After Effects, and they've been amazing. So many features in the free version that unless you're doing hardcore 3D compositing, you probably won't even need the paid version.

Affinity suite for sure. With the promo they had this year anyone could have bought a semi-permanent license for $75 total for their versions of Photoshop, AI and InDesign. Regular price is $150 for the suite, but they do have the occasional sale. For video the answer is Davinci Resolve.
