All in all, I would highly recommend proxmox. I don’t have any Unraid exposure, so can not compare the platforms. I run a NAS, so unraid doesn’t really hold a ton of benefit for me. I do, however, have a good friend who runs a 4U home lab using it and it seems like both platforms accomplish basically the same thing, and do so with excellence.
