Jan 17, 2013 · There are two factors here, DNS resolution and routing path. DNS is easily tested with a "ping www.sitename.com" If it resolves the IP then you should be good from a DNS perspeciive. Next is to see if you can route to the site. Do "tracert x.x.x.x" by the IP of the site and see the path & hops taken to reach the site.
