The installed kernel on my freshly installed Manjaro is 5.9.16-1 which is not an LTS kernel. That scares me tbh, because I never use something non-LTS.

Now to answer your question. If you want to use Pop_OS (I love it) then wait until 20.04 is release (end of April/beginning of May) and use that. Then when 20.10 is release (October/November) update to that. Also you can just install pop_os 19.10 and get the 20.04 update when it rolls out.
