You can also configure DNS servers per network in it's DHCP configuration - this is what clients that getting addresses via DHCP will use. Or you can configure client itself as static and set DNS there.

I had setup my Pi-Hole server on the WAN interface and 99% of my DNS traffic was originating from the USG with all of the top queries being random .local domains (e.g. lkasdkfh.local).
