13.04.2020 · I noticed that my rescan jobs for the laptops running Veeam Agent for Windows take a ling time - about 6 mins. per laptop. If I disabled the Windows Firewalls on those laptops, the rescan takes about 10 secs. per laptop. I can understand a firewall blocking the Veeam server from rescanning, but I can't understand why it would slow it down.

02.07.2021 · It is recommended that you stop or disable all jobs before performing the rescan. Veeam Backup & Replication skips from scanning backups created by active jobs. Veeam Backup & Replication will not be able to import backups automatically while performing a rescan if VBM files are not available.
