UNraid running on ProxMox - ACPI Shutdown not working

05.05.2021 · Yes that would work for a power outage but I believe that would only shutdown UnRaid and not safely shutdown proxmox. Then there is the case if I wanted to reboot the proxmox server. Would be nice to do it without having to log into the UnRaid gui and shut it down first. I am sure there is something I am doing wrong or have something set wrong.

Proxmox at its core is an L2 hypervisor, with its core mission being to provide a vm cloud infrastructure. Given your primary use case is deploying docker containers with only a single virtual machine, that seems like overkill. And you're going to have to put in a lot of customization to get it to match what you're doing with unRAID.
